Introduction

The Power of Frequency

Frequency can be used as a tool to heal and center ourselves in many ways. By using certain frequencies of sound, color, light, and smells, to name a few, we can easily rejuvenate and revitalize our entire being.

Do you ever feel drained during the day? When you wake up like you just didn't get enough sleep? That there is just something missing in your day?

Remember way back when you had tons and tons of energy, and it seemed like you could go forever? That is, until your parents made you go to bed, or you finally just crashed?

What was one of the things you did for that energy?

You played...

Most of the day!!!

During play, some of us played house, or work. We used our imaginations, and we did all sorts of things, like sports, riding bikes, running, jumping and SKIPPING!!

When was the last time you skipped to the mail box? I know it was a long time for me, and that at some point I just became too cool to skip... and there went that one little thing that was fun!

As we got older, we gave up all the so-called un-cool things that used to energize us... not only physically, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

We have simply forgotten to take some time to PLAY, to have fun and enjoy this blink of an eye journey that we call life... Just let me do my 70 to life and move on, right?

Well, if you're just too cool for school, you'll most likely stop reading here. But if not, and you want to liven up your day and begin to enjoy life like the kid with no limits, then read on... we've got a lot to cover in a short time (wouldn't wanna waste those precious minutes of playtime, right?)

 

First Things First...

Identify Your Energy Drains

In today's hectic lifestyles, we are in a hurry to get it all done. We are constantly on the go and focusing on achieving as much as possible. We rarely take time out of our busy schedules to revitalize and replenish our energy levels. Once our energy levels get low, we become stressed out, which puts our energy drain into maximum overdrive... and before you know it, you're wiped out, stressed out, and tired as hell, and you still have one million and one things to do before your busy day is through.

There are many drains on our energy, and we need to recognize them so that we can avoid and resolve them before our reserves get so low that our bodies begin to break down, get sick, and possibly dis-eased... so that we have to make time to rest.

Here are a few very common energy zappers that we can identify and begin to work on right now.

 

1. Working Long Hours without frequent breaks to rejuvenate your mind and body and a lack of physical exercise.

There are literally millions of ways to rectify this one. Take short breaks, and get more exercise. Skipping is a good stress relieving break. I skip to my mailbox, and my neighbors may think I'm a bit crazy, but my kids think I'm the coolest dad alive because I care more about having fun than how cool I look. Some other physical activities that you can take up right away are Yoga (there are tons of resources on the internet for Yoga that you can find by just Googling Yoga), Tai Chi, Ki Gong, Martial Arts, Sports, Swimming, Kayaking, Skiing, Jumping Jacks, Red Light Green Light, Red Rover, Duck Duck Goose... I could go on forever about ways to get some physical exercise and have a little bit of fun, but you get the idea.

 

2. Alcohol. This one's kind of a no-brainer. Alcohol is a widely available stimulant, and is pretty much socially acceptable in many countries. Many of us like to unwind from the day with a glass of wine or a few beers. But alcohol is toxic to the body. Although enjoying a few glasses of red wine each week is thought to protect the heart, drinking in excess strains your liver and reduces its ability to detoxify your body. Drinking too much alcohol also causes fatigue, dehydrates the body, and brings on headaches. It can also disrupt your sleep patterns and deplete your body of vital nutrients.

There's a simple fix for this one, too. Keep your alcohol intake below recommended limits, and drink plenty of water every day to eliminate toxic wastes. It is a good idea to have at least one or two alcohol-free days every week.

 

3. Caffeine. Ah, good old coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cola... the quick fix for more energy. Caffeine is a powerful stimulant that is readily available almost everywhere. We seem to always have enough time to grab a coffee or tea to revive ourselves. But drinking five to six cups of coffee on a daily basis is toxic to the body, wreaking havoc on our endocrine system.The stimulating effect induces the release of the hormone adrenaline, which promotes anxiety, restlessness, palpitations and insomnia. Caffeine is also addictive; you need to consume more over time to get the same buzz or lift, and when you try to cut down the caffeine, withdrawal brings on some pretty mean headaches.

To help alleviate the energy drain of caffeine, you can drink caffeine-free alternatives, such as herbal teas, dandelion coffee, or the ton of bottled water products and juices that are now offered just about everywhere. Another great alternative for a good caffeine replacement in the morning is the Morning Jumpstart Brainwave Entrainment, included on this page, which was designed specifically to get you going in the morning.

 

4. Nicotine and Other Toxins. Nicotine is another common stimulant that is also readily available. Smoking a cigarette may ease muscular tension and stimulate the senses, but it also activates the nervous system, releasing stress hormones into the bloodstream. One of the biggest energy drains of smoking is the carbon monoxide (a byproduct of the smoke), which decreases the oxygen levels in your blood and damages the body's cells, reducing the natural detoxification process.

There really is only one fix for these types of energy drains... and that is to quit. The Brainwave Entrainment called "Take 10" (In the members' area under "Stress and Relaxation") can help with the cravings, and you can do that instead of having your nicotine fix. Hypnosis from a certified professional is also another very effective and easy way to quit. Make sure you take a good multivitamin when quitting smoking, to help your body recover from the depletion of nutrients.

 

Other Energy Drains that are very common, but you may not think of, are: emotional, mental and spiritual energy drains.

Emotional energy drains can zap you of more than just your energy, and come in many guises. Partners and family can wear you down with constant claims on your time. You might also have some friends that zap your energy with selfish requests and demands on your time. At work, your boss and co-workers can have you stressed out, and lower your self esteem in no time flat. Kids and the elderly can also be a huge emotional energy drain, as they seem to be the most demanding of your time.

Mental and spiritual drains can be a whole host of things, but mainly if you are neglecting the spiritual side of your life -- your creative side -- you are missing out on the very best energizer there is. Take time to play, to get creative, and just allow yourself to do something you love, something you are passionate about.

Meditation and just simply being selfish enough to take some time out for yourself to rejuvenate you physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually will help with some of the most taxing energy drains.

Just taking a bit of time to quiet your mind, and a few moments to allow yourself to relax, will help keep you emotionally, mentally and spiritually fit.

If you have anyone in your life that is demanding too much of your time, and not allowing you the time and space to rejuvenate, or not showing you appreciation for the demand they place on your time... let them know today. The only person you are hurting by not showing others where your boundaries are is yourself.

Be sure to make some time to play, and relax!

There is nothing more important than feeling good, by being selfish enough to choose above all else for you to feel good. By feeling well-being, you are silently giving others permission to do the same, and when you feel good, your world feels good.

The whole point of this little guide is to help you maximize "Your" time. This is "Your Playtime", the time you take out of your day to rejuvenate and revitalize yourself.

 

Where Do I Start?

There are several ways you can dive into the Harmonic Ascension meditations. One way is to just listen to them all, choose which one you like most, and use that meditation for awhile; it is most likely the one you need most.

Another way is the Intuitive Method, where you go through the listings, and when your heart gets that extra thump, your heart is telling you what you need to hear most.

The third way is to add some structure to listening to the meditations. For that I'm about to give you some suggestions that you can use throughout your day to maximize your experience with the meditations.

For the most part, just open your mind and have fun with the whole experience. This is not a test... there are no grades or trophies, just you feeling better in YOUR world.

It's time to get up, sleepy head... The morning can be the most stressful part of the day. Getting up is a monumental task. Some of us are welcomed by the aches and pains of yesterday, and that ever-looming age increase. There are many ways to improve our day if we learn some good wake-up techniques, which will have you feeling younger and more refreshed than you have felt in years. With some of the techniques listed below, you can begin your day with toe tappin' enthusiasm.

Get Those Toes
Tappin' Tea

 

 

Ginger and Lemon Tea

Here is an invigorating cup of tea. The properties of ginger makes a fragrant warming tea that promotes good blood flow, strengthens the respiratory system, and boosts digestion. The lemon offers you some antioxidant protection and provides vitamin C to increase your body's resistance to infection.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons of fresh grated or dried ginger root
  • 2 cups of boiling water
  • 2-3 teaspoons of fresh lemon juice
  • 1-2 teaspoons of fresh honey (optional)

Preparing the Tea

1. Place the ginger in a china or glass teapot and add the boiling water (metal can affect the taste of herbs, so it is best to always use a non-metal teapot. You can, however, boil the water in metal pan or teapot, or just microwave the 2 cups of water for 2 minutes).

2. Steep for 10 to 20 minutes (this would be a good time to listen to the "Morning Jumpstart Meditation") then strain into a cup, add the lemon, and honey if you like.

 

Morning Exercise and Visualization

Morning Meditation Preparation: Get a small object like a marble or a small smooth stone -- something that doesn't have too many details -- and place it where you can look directly at it for a few moments as you get into a comfortable position to meditate.

Play "Morning Jumpstart" (below). Now focus on the object while you breathe in and out slowly 3 times. Hold that image in your mind, close your eyes, and maintain your concentration on that object in your mind. As you maintain your focus on the object in your mind, your body will begin to naturally relax from head to toe. As other thoughts arise in your mind, just allow them, and gently return your attention back to the object in your mind. As you continue to focus on the object, your mind will become quiet. Once you feel that your mind is quiet, start to direct your thoughts to having a very successful, playful, fun-filled, productive day.

You will see and feel these thoughts as easily as you held your attention on the object in your mind. Continue to think positive thoughts until the meditation ends, and know that this is going to be an amazing day.

 


Morning Jumpstart

Description: Morning Jumpstart is
specifically designed to jumpstart your day. After listening to this session first thing in the morning, you will feel more vibrant and alive. You will start your day feeling great!!

This session uses a simple 18 Hz (Beta) stimulus as well as a tone with a slowly increasing pitch, to wake and energize the listener. You can also use the Beta or SMR Sessions for Caffeine Replacement.

To use this meditation, find a comfortable position and close your eyes. Relax and breathe deeply.

Now go drink your tea if you made it, and do this simple effective "Energy Breathing Technique":

 

Breath Fully - Live Fully

Take some deep breaths from your diaphragm to expand your lung capacity, boost the oxygen levels in your bloodstream, clear out those nasty toxins, and help purify your internal organs before starting your active full and adventurous day.

1. Stand upright with your back straight, or sit cross-legged on a mat. Begin by breathing in deeply, through your nose, from your diaphragm, drawing air into your lower lungs.

2. As you expand your ribcage, feel the air working up through your lungs until it reaches the top. Hold for a few seconds or count to 3.

3. Slowly breathe out, through your nose, releasing the air first from the top of your lungs and then downwards. Repeat this technique for about 5 to 7 minutes every morning.

 

Some Mid Morning Refreshers

About mid-morning you might begin to feel your energy levels wane, and need a quick refresher.

Instead of grabbing that quick fix, like a cup of coffee, you can put the frequency of smell to work for you. Aromatherapy is a very powerful homeopathic method to use in all sorts of situations, from relaxation to energizing yourself.

For a quick boost you can try using some reviving oils like tangy citrus, such as an orange or a lemon. You can squeeze the peel in your fingers and give it a wiff... WOW!!! Now that's a pick-me-up.

Another way is to squeeze the peel or add a few drops of essential oil into a paper towel, and then hold the towel close to your nose and breathe deeply for a minute or so, taking in the invigorating citrus smell. Smell is a very powerful way to utilize frequency to your benefit, and you will instantly feel the effects of smell, unlike other methods that can take a short time to feel the effects. (If you don't believe just how powerful smell is, think back to a time when you smelled a skunk or some really powerful trash for the very first time. If you got a good enough dose, there is no doubt that you felt sick pretty darn quickly, right?)

Try out different types of aromas that appeal to your senses and that will energize you, and increase your mental clarity.

Here are some other very good reviving oils:

  • Sandlewood calms and reduces stress.
  • Lemongrass oil acts as a refreshing tonic.
  • Frankincense soothes the nervous system and is spiritually uplifting.
  • Rosemary is revitalizing and balances the emotions.

Don't forget to take a good playful break. Humming Yankee Doodle Dandy as you skip around the office is a good way to not only boost your morale, but it will put everyone in a lighter mood (not to mention you'll be the hot topic at the office). It's OK to be a little nutty every once in while; it keeps things flowing, breaks up the monotony, and lets that ol' humbugger called your ego think it just lost at least 50 points in the status quo game where the only winner is a well preserved old prune that could make diamonds if you shove a lump of coal up the... did I say that out loud?

You see, it feels good to loosen up a bit and smile! Practice smiling a lot; you never know, in today's video/photo-happy day and age, you just might be made famous if you're "caught on tape". Don't let that make you nervous though, as collective consciousness is always watching you through you anyway.

The afternoon and evening is where your energy level can really take a dive, especially when the stresses and frustrations of the day are beginning to take a toll on you. Don't worry, there is hope. To help keep your spirits high, there are several natural and holistic approaches to keeping you in good spirits and energetic throughout the rest of the day. Be sure to take some much needed time out for yourself, so that you can re-energize your mind, body and spirit.

Revitalizing Tea

 

 

Ginseng and Honey Tea

Ginseng makes an excellent afternoon revitalizing tea tonic that reduces physical and emotional stress. Not only does it aid your mental clarity, it also normalizes your blood sugar levels and stimulates the nervous system.

Ingredients

  • 3 teaspoons of Korean ginseng powder (widely available at health food and herbal shops)
  • 1 cup of boiling water
  • 1-2 teaspoons of honey (optional)

Preparing the Tea

1. Dissolve the ginseng powder in the boiling water and leave it to stand for 10 minutes (Now would be a good time to practice one of the meditations listed below).

2. Ginseng has a pleasant flavor on its own, but a lot of people prefer to add honey.

 

Blissful Abandon

Inducing Calm Meditation

("Infinite Balance", listed below, is a great meditational brainwave entrainment to go with this meditation):

1. Sit comfortably and relax. Close your eyes and think of a favorite scene where you always feel at peace. It may be on a beach, a mountain vista, or a scenic lake or river.

2. Mentally take yourself to this blissful place in your mind, and lose yourself in the spacious, wondrously calm environment. See and feel the colors around you, and smell the pleasant soothing scents of nature. Feel the revitalizing tranquility of this wonderful place rejuvenating your body and resolving any problems; see the stressful problems just floating away into the atmosphere.

These hassles are not part of you, they are merely outside circumstances that do not control your well-being. Choose to be well, and allow your worries to drift off, knowing that everything will be taken care of to the best of your ability. Breath deeply and relax.

3. Slowly open your eyes, remember this feeling of blissful calm, and take it with you as you leave your scenic sacred space, knowing that you can return here to your sacred space at any time you wish. Remember clearly your sacred scenic space, and any time you begin to feel stressed, you can return here to revitalize yourself.

 

The Mighty and Fast Relaxation Technique

Problem: You only have a few minutes before that next meeting, or want to unwind before going out into the hustle and bustle of the world.

Solution: Make it simple, make it fast!

1. Concentrate on your slow breathing. Choose a cue word such as "Let Go" or "Relax", and repeat it in your mind as you start to relax.

2. Take a deep breath, and at the same time clench a group of muscles in areas of your body where you feel tension, such as your face, neck, shoulders, legs, chest and stomach.

3. As you breathe out, let go of your muscles, feeling all the tightness and tension simply melting away.



Supreme Focused Mind

Breathing Exercise

Breathe out that stress!

When your body is feeling under pressure from stress, take a few minutes to do this amazingly easy breathing exercise to revitalize your body.

1. Sit cross-legged on the floor, or whatever position feels comfortable for you, but make sure you keep your spine straight and your head in line with your neck and back. Focus on your abdomen and breathe in as you stretch your arms out to the side.

2. As you continue to breathe in and fill your lungs, lift your arms high above your head and look upwards.

3. Intertwine your fingers and keep stretching your arms upward. Breathe out forcefully tilting your head back as you release all your stress and let your arms drop back down to your sides. Repeat this exercise 5-10 times, filling your lungs more deeply with each breath to clear out tension and re-energize your body.

 

 


Enlightened Ascension

Description: Enlightened Ascension is a high frequency training session that will help you to tap into the higher realms of experience. Once you do this, you will begin to look at life with a brand new outlook; one without fear, as you will know without a doubt that there is more to this experience that we call life.

This session helps you to tap into the super-conscious mind by using asymmetry, with the intent of keeping the left brain dominant, which is good for focus and concentration, among other things. While listening to the music, just allow yourself to drift away into the soundscape, and in no time at all you will be in a highly focused state of higher thought patterns that are frequently used by Shamans, Visionaries and Healers. Identify those Energy Zappers

Stress Relieving Tip:

Clutter creates unnecessary stress. Spend a few minutes each day clearing the clutter around your workspace. A lot of us get so busy in our day-to-day routines that we allow clutter to build up around us. Start keeping only what you use out in the open, and throw away or store away the rest. It's 2008; you don't need all those magazines from last year, so recycle them.

Start clearing your clutter by making piles of importance, where your items that you use go in one pile, the items you may use later in another, and items that you aren't going to use or don't need in another. Spend a few minutes every day cleaning up.

Clean up your computer. Spend 10 to 20 minutes daily organizing and freeing up space on your computer. Go through your inbox and delete any old messages, create a folder for important ones to keep, and begin filing messages in the important folder.

Remember to clean up and delete your sent items too. Make up a filing system for your files on your computer that will help save you time and be more organized.

 


Infinite Balance

Description: Infinite Balance will help you to feel very balanced. This session is similar to a cat's purr. Cats are extremely well balanced and very agile. By using this mediation, you will also feel more agile, and more confident while going about your daily activities.

The pitches and tones in this session will cause a feeling and sensation of resonance and vibration throughout the body. Though there is no clear scientific consensus as to why cats purr, and several other animals purr, one theory is that the pitch of their purring and its associated harmonics are frequencies which are known to have healing properties for ligaments, tendons, and bone.

Cats are fantastic healers compared to dogs, and their cancer rates are magnitudes less than that of dogs. Furthermore, cats maintain their strength and agility, in spite of very little exercise during the day, through stimulating their tissues with purring to keep their muscles in the tip top shape they need for hunting.

Holistic Room Energy Scrubber

Clapping is a wonderful and simple sound technique to banish those stagnant or low energy areas in a room, by loosening the energetic imprint. Spend a few minutes every day to clap around the room that needs a vibrational lift. Practice a few claps in a corner, and if they sound muffled or very dull, the chi (energy) is very low, and you will need to clap from floor to ceiling to disperse it.

1. Start from the doorway and begin clapping clockwise around the room, keeping your mind focused on clearing the dead energy as you move about the room. If an area sounds muffled or dull, then that area needs an extra clapping.

2. You will notice when the dead energy has lifted because your claps will sound crisp and clear.

3. After you are finished clapping around the room you will notice and sense a brighter clearer energy. Your atmosphere will feel revitalized and energetic. The feeling you'll have is similar to when you open the windows to let in fresh air.

 

Evening Tension Banisher

Covering your eyes for a few moments can clear your head and refresh your eyes.

1. Sit with your elbows supported on a desk or table, or sit upright with your elbows on your chest, and cup your hands over your eyes. Depending on where you are at, you can lie down to do this, keeping your knees bent... but if you lie down in a high traffic area, like the walkway to the water fountain, you might get stepped on, so be careful where you do it.

2. Now rub your palms together until they begin to feel warm, and then gently place them over your closed eyes but DO NOT touch your eyes.

3. Breathe in slowly and deeply, and enjoy the complete darkness, letting your mind empty as the warmth from your hands washes away the day's fatigue. As the soothing warm energy from your hands revitalizes your eyes, breathe in and out rhythmically for about 5 to 10 minutes.

Journal away your day. List all of the positive things that happened to you during your day. At first this may seem hard to do, as we seem to have more emotional attachment to the negative things that happened to us, which makes them far easier to remember... like the big jerk that cut you off in traffic. With practice, you will begin to take note of more and more positive things that happen each and every day that we usually take for granted. At first your journal entries may only contain a few things that are positive, but before long it would take hours to list all the wonderful, amazing, synchronistic things that happen throughout the day.

Sleepy Time Tea at Bedtime for a Deeply Restful Sleep


Chamomile Milk Tea

This is considered medicinal strength Chamomile tea, a sleep inducing drink that will help you prepare for bedtime.

There are two types of Chamomile used for medicinal purposes: German Chamomile, or Matricaria chamomilla, and Roman Chamomile, or Chamaemelium nobilius.

The best Chamomile is considered to be German Chamomile because it is the richest and sweetest flavor. Chamomile is well known the world over as a herbal tea that creates a state of relaxation, calm, and restful sleep. Among its many therapeutic properties are: relief from asthma, hay fever, allergies, menopause, headaches, fevers, colds, flu, sore throat, ease childbirth, and as a remedy for gastritis and stomach ulcers.

Ingredients

  • 3 Chamomile tea bags
  • 8 ounces of boiling water
  • 8 ounces of warm whole milk
  • 1-2 teaspoons of honey

Preparing the Tea

Put three tea bags of Chamomile into an 8 ounce cup of boiling water, and let steep covered for 10 minutes. Then mix it with 8 ounces of warm whole milk, and add one to two teaspoons of honey.

Drink one small cup one hour before bedtime, and another 30 minutes before bedtime. Put the rest in a thermos on your bedside table to drink if you wake up in the night.

 



There are several ways to unwind and slow the mind down before you go to sleep, like a warm bath, a good book, some slow soothing music, and if you enjoy aromatherapy, lavender is always a good relaxing and revitalizing scent.

Sleep Well Sub-Delta

Description: Sleep Well Sub-Delta can be used at any time, but is specifically designed to get you into a highly relaxed state before you go to bed. This session will help relieve stress and fatigue, and possibly even eliminate pain.

You may experience lucid dreaming after you go to sleep. It is a good idea to have a pen and paper handy to document any dreams you may have, for later interpretation. Delta stimulation can be very hypnotic, and Sub-Delta (0 - 1 hz) in particular seems to have soothing effects on the limbic system, such as the amygdala and hypothalamus, which themselves operate at Delta frequencies.

These neural structures are associated with emotions, fear, the fight-or-flight response, blood pressure, tension and more. Using sub-delta to sooth these structures has resulted in amazing success, helping conditions such as fibromyalgia, chronic pain and hypertension (high blood pressure). In some studies, sub-delta frequencies have also been linked with pituitary stimulation of HGH release.

Many people have also found success using Delta as an aid in meditation. Its soothing effects on the limbic system may shed some light on this.

Please Note: There are 2 versions of this meditation. One of them requires headphones, while the other can be played without headphones. These sessions can be looped and played throughout the night.
